I just bought a pair of heels, not the the thin ones but the thick ones that are closed and seem kind of professional. However, they're kind of loud and I don't want to seem like I'm showing off at school (I'm 16--Junior) Do you think if they're loud it's bad for school? I like how they look and they're not open toe or anything but the noise?

well when i waz in 7th grade i started wearing heels ( cause I'm short and it's good for yr calf muscles) and this guy in my class alwayz used to make fun of me cause my stilettos would make ah lot of nosie as i walked in the class room or hallway...... i didn't stop cause it made me feel more confident about myself and i didn't need to look up at my friend Ashlyn ( she is reallly tall like 5'9 or somethang now) anymore........anyway Billy, the guy, soon got over it an dmoved on to someone else.... here and there he still calls me Clacks or Horsey but it doesn't really bother me at all. if ppl make fun of u ... it's only cause they can't afford teh clothing or acessories that u can.......
my mom ( i know it sounds weird) always told me to b confident in wat i do or just don't do it...... and when i chose 2 wear my first pair of Stilettos i waz sure there waz gonna b someone just waiting 2 make fun of me..........
i really don't think that the nosie will bother the school tooo much unless every teacher keeps his or her door open during class......and don't worry about teh whole showing off thing cause everyone shows off..... in fact sometimes ppl compete ( nawt so that every1 knows but only teh ppl competing know) to see who can afford teh best clothing.... b-lieve me it is worse if u don't cause ppl start 2 think u r poor and for some reason hate u just b-cause of that ........
sooo ... my philosphy is that if ppl don't like the way u dress, they don't count and teh ppl that envy always r teh ppl 2 hang out with........
so stay gorgeous and remain wearing yr heels, cause if u got it flant it,

This is a hard question, but maybe just wear them to parties...it would be cool at school cuz i bet they are really cute but if you walk around in clunking and clanking shoes...some of the wrong people will notice...
just wear them everywhere else because a good pair of shoes can be worn anywhere!! :)

Why can't schools just have carpet lol. They make these sticky sheets that have rubber grippies on them to you just trace the shoe, peel and stick. You can buy them at department stores for about $3-$5!

Heels are supposed to be loud - you probably aren't used to the attention you receive and the admiring looks you receive when wearing them. Don't be self conscious - you need to hold your head high and work it girl!

you can buy stickies that go on the bottom of the shoe. They're made so you won't slip, but will make them quieter also. You canget those as rite aid or walmart, target, wherever.
