all my friends have limewire, and they send me songs on yahoo. they say that it's free, but when i go to the website for it, it says that you have to pay. can i actually get songs from there and then send them to people? i really want to do it, but i dont know how. so tell me whatever you know about this. =]

You have to pay for Limewire Pro, but basic should be free.
If you have Limewire then you could send songs to people, yes. But you'll have to download it first.

you don't have to pay on limewire just never accept the pro version or the updates version always select ask me later. Be careful on limewire though cause you are actually sharing files with other peoples computers and there are lots of viruses on that page. I got one from there on my computer and my whole system shut down. It is so much better to pay the 99 cents for your songs.

You can. You have to pay for limewire pro but lime wire basic is free. Be careful though because it can give your computer a viruses.

just get the limewire basic its free limewire pro is what u have to pay for

u only have to pay for limewire pro. the basic one is free and u can download it online. but if it says download limewire pro then thats not the one....

theres a pro limewire and a free one...click the "get it now" button
then click get basic instead of pro..hope that helps

Yes, it's free. Download the software from http://www.limewire.com/ and you can start using it. I have it. It'll ask you to register, and you can just click on "Later". You don't HAVE to pay for it. I don't. I have over 1,500 songs. Still need help? Email me.
