I used to dance when I was growing up and thought that it may be fun to take a dance class now that I am an adult. The class is basically beginning ballet. Any suggestions?

Wear a leotard with leggings or if you'd feel awkward in that wear like a tight shirt and tight pants or leggings. It definitely needs to hug your body since this is ballet and dont forget the ballet slippers!!

I dance now, and I'm in an adult ballet class. Depends on what your comfortable in..you can wear a skirt and leggings with a leatard or a pair of sweats and a t-shirt if you like. Might be a little bit easier with a skirt. I personally like wearing leggings with shorts on top and a leatard underneath comfortable and cool :)

i have been dancing because i become youthful so I have a good idea of what to placed on. If that is a severe/proffesional dance type: Leotard, with tights below. sometime you position on shorts over the leotard. If it is no longer a severe/superior type: Capri's or shorts reckoning on the elements. Or whats above. wish I helped, and robust success on your 1st type-- have interesting! (:

Wear a ligatured or just spandex so that the teacher has to be able to see your body movements properly to make sure that your doing it right.
