Make an appointment with the Citizens Advice Bureau. The CAB are used to handling issues like this and will be able to take all your circumstances into account. If you have no assets and can assuredly make no headway in clearning your debt then bankruptcy may be the way ahead. Beware companies promising to manage your debts - they can often end up more expensive than the original debt and you are no better off. I hope you are successful - debt is a misery, especially with kids.

You can declare bankruptcy. The receiver may have to sell your home to service debts if your other assets do not cover them, but this should be delayed until the first year of bankruptcy as you are living with your children. Bankruptcy is a last resort, but not the end of the world.
A guide to alternatives to bankruptcy is at Business Link.
An alternative is an "Individual Voluntary Arrangement". This involves applying through court for an agreement on repayment with your creditors.
You should speak as soon as you can to a Citizens Advice Bureau, a solicitor, a qualified accountant, an authorised insolvency practitioner, a reputable financial adviser or a debt advice centre.
Good luck!

If female and fit try pole dancing... For somewhere nice if in the uk this could be Stringfellows or Sophisticats in London
Girls walked away with up to £800 a night.
Plus toned muscells.
If guys are silly enough to let flirty girls twist them around their little fingers (especaill when they start drinking) into handing over half their wages just to see a girl do a keep fit dance routine and change their clothes at £20 an dance ie up to £360/hour If you had one every 5 minutes... Therefore the 800 would be only 100an hour...
Then exploit them espcailly if its their expense accounts with the accountant the most drunk so they dont care...
It sure beats your debts, and other probelsm... Do it for two years clear the mortage, another year you pension, then some svings majorly , enough to put the kids through uni. then go on holiday have a great time and them svae the rest to invest in you own business or whatever.
Us guys are jealous of such opportunity...
And thinking from the angle of I love dancign anyone and getting attention. Be like being a boy band member
As for ethics and self respect as said love dancing anyway.
Several of girl mates have been up for the likes of we t shirt competitons and know jelly wrestlers and have fun. Still respect them as not bitchy bullies.
If sex aint immoral nudity sure aint and would consider boring, ****, get treated bad, monotonus repetative work for little pay degrading... Pole dancing should be like clubbing.
Would I mind my sister daughter doing it?
No
As long as nice management who cared for the girls... as were the managers of a place in new zealand and bar games clubs ie wet t **** Ive known

It is time to visit a financial counsellor. Check your Social Services Dept.
Don't give up! Your situation is temporary if you keep on working towards resolving it.
Good luck.
