Wow, that is a tough one, but I'd go with Glaus this year. I normally like Rolen better, but I like the line up in Toronto this year. Rolen will take AVG, but Glaus will take HR, RBIs, and maybe runs. SB is no factor for either of them.

This depends on your perception.
Rolen is more of a gamble. He's had a few very good all-around offensive years and a few offensively-mediocre years in which he was injured. He will almost certainly hit for a better average than Glaus, and he has some semblence of speed, but barring a blue moon in St. Louis, he probably won't outslug Glaus or drive in more runs.
Glaus is more consistent and is much more likely than Rolen to provide home runs and run production hitting in Toronto with a good Blue Jay lineup around him. He won't steal any bases, but Rolen isn't a good source for SB's either. He also is a bit of a free swinger, which translates into more homers and a lower average than Rolen.
I would take Glaus, because he is likely to have an advantage over Rolen in 3 of the five categories (runs, HRs, and RBIs), even though you take a pretty pronounced hit in BA. SBs will probably be a wash. Rolen looks like a nice low-level starter, high-level backup unless he returns to 2004 form.

I'd take Glaus for this year only. Rolen probably won't be completely recovered from last year, while Glaus could spend time as a DH to fully recover. I think that Glaus is more likely to get hit with another injury, while Rolen will eventually recover and have a few more great seasons (.300, 30 HR, 100 RBI). Glaus may hit those power numbers this year, but with a .250 average.

Hmmm...both slightly injury prone.
Glaus has the higher upside, Rolen is more consistent.
I'd go with Rolen because if they both stay healthy (cross your fingers) Rolen's power and production is only slightly less than Glaus's potential. Scott Rolen is a necessary component to STL, while Glaus is pretty new at his position and could be moved around and take a while to get comfortable.

They are both a risk with injuries, but between the two id say Rolen because Glaus always has between a 250 to a 270 average and strikes out over 120 times a year completely heathly

If you can, take Scott Rolen. He doesn't have as much power as Troy Glaus, but he can hit for average better than Glaus and is very good with the glove. Rolen is a better all-around player.
