because after orgasm you have done the duty nature intended you to do with that thing. after you release your sperm, nature hopes the women does the rest, and ejaculating again, is un-nessicary. thats the reason you get hard in the first place, so the sperm can travel easier into the women. orgasm in men is when you release your sperm. then your done!...if i was a man i would thank nature. i dont think it would be very comfortable walking around with an erect penis all day...would it?:

Because the large amount of blood flow that engorges your penis during excitement, which causes it to become erect and hard, drains back out of the blood vessels after you climax. It's perfectly normal.
