not until the last five years .... I read some but wrote more than I read ..... then I fell in love with a woman must much younger than myself and preparing to get married. I stumbled around in my writing until one night i came up with a peom that best described how I saw her in my life and what she means to me. I lost track of her for my sake because she got married and then two months ago I e-mailed her on a fluke and now I am preparing to move in with her with the intention to marry her. Seems she had fallen for me back then but she was with someone esle and didn't think I cared because of a missed e-mail when the server lost it by shutting down my account as unused, I have written her about 15 poems in the last two months and there will be lot more to come

Yes! Poetry is "word music" for the soul! It allows the spirit to communicate it's feelings and gives voice to emotion . I find it allows me the freedom to view life in all its forms (good and bad) in unique and beneficial ways.

Definally, I have written many poens, and have had some published, if you type my name in below/ poerty by Lorene Green
you will see many links to my work, here is one of mine..
Sinful Thoughts
by Lorene Green
Deeper and deeper I go in sin
Farther I go than all men..
I have went beyond the scared place,
where no man may show his face.
In my heart I have sinned
To my desires, I have given in
My heart is wounded, my spirit is broken
A taste of your love for just a token.
I can not contain this feeling of bliss.
lost forever in your kiss.
My conscious is my enemy now...
Intruding into this delight I've found!
Prodding me to give this up.
This crazy lust that seems corrupt
Taking me farther into this den of sin
Oh to be safe and secure again!
Could but my mind and body blend
Come to grips, let my best judgment win
Find the place to become as one
Then I could be happy, my battle won!

Definitely a part..
right from the hart..
don't have to be smart..
..even ala cart...
doesn't have to rhyme
but does most the time
..emotion is king
when you do that poetry thing!

Oh, gosh, yes - I could hardly live without it. I just picked up a translation of the Aeneid that I haven't read and can't wait to plunge into it.
It's been a couple of years since I've written any, but I've felt like a poem is welling up in me for a little while now.
I'll check out the linked site. Thanks.

i admire the assumption of bobbing up something that for the period of no way existed in the previous. Poetry is amazingly significant to me (examining it and writing it). It helps me mirror on my existence and the failings I see in an completely diverse way. it relatively is made me greater of an lively observer in existence.
