and the colour of the sky reflects off the oceans water.
and because God made it like that because he likes the colour blue better then other colours.

By the way get a purifier for your water you can get one at a hardware store or some other store the tape water has all kinds of stuff in it now we shouldn't drink in.

Water in the ocean is seen as blue because that is the color it reflects, the same happens when the water is green (not necessarily dirty), also the water has different colors at different levels. The water in your kitchen sink is not enough to do this and probably because it is reflecting the light from the light bulb in the kitchen.
PS. For those who put because it reflects the sky and the sky is blue, I have a question. Why is the sky blue? Or does it reflect the blue sea?

Yes its the reflection from the Sky. As water is clear and the sky is driectly above this has an impact of what the water colour is in the ocean

I think I read somewhere that it was because of the amount of water.
Also, there's all the things that ocean water contains that will give it a not-clear color.

The water in the ocean is pure and is full of different creatures, as well is a reflection of the sky. The water that you have in your sink has been already process and they add a lot of clorax.

water is always clear.
it appears blue in the ocean because of many organisims that live in the top 3 feet of the ocean's surface that have a blue tint to them.

it is blue in the ocean becuz it is reflecting off of the sky, which reflects off of something else, in the kitchen it can only reflect off the white sink

Its actually a reflection of the sky. Which is why the North Sea of the coast of Scotland is grey in colour. Because of Scotlands grrrreat weather.

water filters out all of the blue light and the water in your "ketchen" sink isnt deep enough for that
