What is the possibility that we will no have school on this day? it is snowing here and we have about 2 " so far and it is still comming down lightly...but with the freezing temperatures at night there could be ice...so i guess what i am asking is how many people think we will have school or will not?

i live in pg county, and the roads here are terrible, crews havent gotten to the main roads, let alone the back roads. the longer those roads go untreated, the more chance they get to freeze over, which will happen. ultimately, its up to the superindendent, so get up early, and watch the morning news, however, i wouldnt count out the possibility that they could open two hours late, so if you have homework, you might want to get it done.

Anne Arundel is fairly close to where I live (Loudoun County, VA), and so far, we're pretty much in the same situation; two inches of snow with freezing rain/sleet overnight. I don't know what their policy is as far as snow days, or how often you get them, but right now here it's about fifty-fifty. It's probably leaning toward a two-hour delay, but that could change depending on how this freezing rain thing turns out.
