Staying because of the children and money.. huuummm That's a tough one. I mean who wants to actually live within their means; give up the car note, because everyone knows that The Jones' can't see you driving in an automobile that just get's you around. I mean it "has to" be something new..right? And the kids oh we can't forget the kids. Growing up in a home with two parents is what's important right? I mean who cares if they pick up on unhappy parents. Yeah stay..continue to sell yourself short so that you can live in the "great house", with the "great kids", in the "great neighborhood". Life is too short to be miserable. I would rather live in an apartment with a piece of mind then sit around in an unhappy marriage. Good luck. You don't know what you're missing!!

not me! I'm married to my husband because we love each other, and we're happy together.
I think it's one of the saddest things in the world is when people stay together for the children, or financial benefits. just look at all the time wasted in an unhappy marriage. and that's time you can never get back. it would be better for all involved to go ahead and divorce and move on with life.
Best Wishes

No, I'm not. Not to say we haven't had problems, but I chose to stick it out for the sake of the children and the financial benefit, and I'm glad I did. It was just a temporary bump in the road.

Nope.....been there done that....bought the T shirt and went home. I tried to stay with my first wife for the kids....after 10 years of hell decided that was enough....after she had a affair....been with my second wife 16 years and its great! I wish I would have meet her sooner......trust me staying with someone for ANY reason other than you love them and want to be with them is just waste-in your life away. Why spend all your life with someone that you really don't want to be with...as for kids.....they know when the parents are not truly happy and it affects them MORE by staying in a loveless relationship.

Nope not this chickie... I am very happily married and plan on staying that way. You should get counseling and help for you and your marriage if that is the only reason you are staying in your marriage.

I feel like a glorified babysitter, and a person that is there so they can get all the things done, that she did not get when she grew up. I don't feel loved, or wanted, I feel like I am one of the kids.
