When should I test????

Question

My cycle is usually 27-30 days long. This month I ovulated on day 19. My luetal phase (time between O and next period starting) can be anywhere from 7-13 days. This is day 28, no period yet. But I am only 9 days past ovulation. Soooo.... when should I test?



Incase my cycle is confusing, here is what my cycles have done the last 3 months:

O' Day Cycle Length Luteal Phase
Oct 1 20 30 10
Oct 31 21 28 7
Nov28 14 27 13

Just to give you some of the info I've recently gotten, if your LP is less than 10 days you might want to have your doctor check it out as this may mean it is not long enough to sustain a pregnancy.

And you should test the day of or day after the longest of all your LPs which in your case would be 13dpo.

Wait to test when you miss your period so if you go to 31 days since your last period then take the test. There is no need to spend all the money on test's and to test too early and get a negative and get let down. Just wait it out it is just a couple of more days. I know what you are going through but you are lucky you only have two more days to wait I am not testing until the 30th just to be safe. Good luck hun and I hope all works out the way you want.

oh it's way to soon to tell hun. Its only the 21st. Id say wait at least till the 1st of feb, and even then it may be to early. trust me i am ttc right now also, 1st month of trying to and my good friend just told me she was preg after having sex once 9 days b4 her period.... so i am going nuts waiting patiently. so all u can do it.... wait.....

I would wait until I have missed my period before I take a test.

try to wait at least 14dpo or until your missed period for best results
