I'm 20weeks pregnant and have been having vivid dreams too. Sometimes the meanings are obvious (e.g. dreaming of ex boyfriends - being scared of commitment) and sometimes they are just crazy!
Don't worry its just hormones, I haven't had the 'giving birth to an alien' dream yet but I'm sure I will.
I'm not as bothered about the dreams every night, its waking up & needing the toilet that bugs me!

YES! Once I dreamed I would have a little boy then another when I had a little girl. I dreamed what they looked like and everything, NOT that they actually ended up looking like that after they were born, but that my subconcscious was trying to put a face to the person before I saw them. Another time I dreamt that my baby shrank so tiny that I lost it in the covers. It was the size of a thimble and I feverishly searched the baby blanket for it. Another I dreamed that it was born so premature that it had to stay connected to me through my belly button. That the umbilical cord went through MY bellybutton to get the baby. I'm a weirdo anyway, but these dreams always weirded me out when I was preggo.

Hi, yeah I had horrible dreams about going into labour, giving birth and then the baby looked about 2, could talk, and walk. It really scared me but when I spoke to my midwife she said it was normal, or ok and that lots of women have dreams like this. She said it just means you want your child to be born normal and healthy and grow into a toddler safely. Not sure if she was just trying to make me feel better or not but it worked and they didn't scare me anymore! Good luck with the baby when it comes!!

Yes!! I never really dreamed before and now I've had about 4 a night and they are really wierd too. What is also funny is my husband has had wierd dreams since we've become pregnant too and before that he only remembers ever having two dreams in his life.

yes yes yes, i had some very vivid dream when i was pregnant. In one dream hubby and i were international millionaires who had been invited by another millionaire couple on their private concorde to fly to canada. my husbands hair was dyed blonde ( he is black).

i also had about 3 dreams where i had been wrongly accused of stealing. There was one dream when i was accused of stealing some womans shoes but i was only trying them on!!

In another dream i went to buy a handbag but it had been sold, so i wrecked the shop!!

Try taking some queit life before you go to bed, or maybe just try to relax as you may seem anxious before you go to bed.
