You dont want your shirt too long or too short. A long shirt makes you look like you have even shorter legs. A short one would be uncomfortable. You want a shirt that hits the hips or slightly above there. It will show off both features.

you should try shorter shirts that end right about your waist...if they are too long they will make your torso overpower the lenght of your legs
