Absolutely not, apparently it has been happening for a while now, we have been warned, but chose to ignore it, especially at the political level. Oh, by the way this is not a partisan issue, even though Tough measures would have to be passed by politicians to make a difference. Politicians want votes, people want no restrictions on their activities or higher taxes on fuels, so we are where we are. Granted, this is probably a natural cycle, but we have accelerated the process. I think we have passed the tipping point and are beginning to experience worldwide climate change. Extreme weather worldwide is just the beginning. This is not to say the human race will become extinct, because we can adapt, but a good number of animal species will.We must learn to be better stewards of this good earth God has blessed us with.

The ice has been retreating for ten thousand years, in the geological record there have been periods when the Antarctic ice shelf has melted as well as the north pole, man was not to blame for this, it is the global climate and we did not make it. We may be intensifying the process but we are at the end of an ice age regardless. So we have to understand that the ice will keep melting, it takes a thousand years for the thermal pulse to pass through the Ice Shelf, it has been on its way for a thousand years and it would take a thousand years to stop it.

As for the Inuti, they can raise crops like the rest of us in few decades.

I have never thought it a myth. It is a fact that many do not want to face because it would mean changes in life style. Those changes are not as drastic as some seem to think. Using cold water for most of the wash, turning down the thermostat 1 degree, use the car for more than one mission while driving & plan your route for greatest milage & less gas consumption. It just takes a little thought. Recycle. In 30 years we will be past the point of no return. I want my grandchildren to have a good life so I do what ever I can to see to it that I do my best for them & the others who come after me.

No, I do not think it is a myth, but the name could use improvement. Some people get a cold snap, and assume its a myth. The global climate patterns are changing, due to human damage. I live in NE Pennsylvania, and we had temps into the high 60's until about a week ago, and still no snow-a first in history for us. Yes, it is cold today, but is should have been this cold for the past few months.

And polar bears are drowning left and right because they can't find ice. I have never believed that global warming was a myth. The only ones who do seem to be the ones who have deceived others because their profit and salaries depend on it, or those who have been deceeived by those whose profits depend on those industries that are causing these problems.
