You need to just be straight up with them at dinner or something and say, "You know, Mom and Dad. I really like the thought of acting and I wanna give it a shot."
See if you can audition for local plays in your area and audition for plays at your school too. I'm guessing that you are in 7th grade and at most middle schools they have a theater class.
Acting is something that you're really gonna have to work hard at but if you're really good at it and you believe in yourself then you will go far.
