It depends on what kind of test it was, what was the sensitivity of it and were both of the test's the same?? IF they both were the same test I would go out and get a First Response pregnancy test those have are very sensitive test's. They can measure HCG at 15mIU. I always use those, sometimes they come in a pack of two so then take one one day and take another another day like the very next day and see what the results are. Sounds though to me if you got a positive already that you are indeed pregnant so Congrats.

You poor thing, I know what you are going through! I have the problem. I would wait till you missed your period. I know it is a long time but I just read some where that it is best to wait a week or two after you missed your period and then you are more likely to have an accurate reading. Or if you must know for sure now call up the doctor and get a test.
And to answer immediate question, they say that a positive is a positive...but I read into things and I got a very very VERY faint line (skinny too) and read that the brand has a history of giving false positive...and tried a different brand and all negative.
(if it was the e.p.t +/- blue ink...that is the one that has a bad rap)

Cheap tests work just as well as expensive ones, you might have had a chemical pregnancy or used the test wrong, test again and if it comes back negative call your doctor explaining what happend.

I'd wait another day or two then re-test. It might be a little too early yet. You can get false positives & negitives too.

I would wait another day or two and take another test. Use your first morning urine. The pregnancy hormone is more concentrated then.

Strange!
Some tests have different sensitivity levels. While others are known for false postives if your taking fertility meds = like clomid and lupron. Check out: http://peeonastick.com
