I'm thinking about attending school at RIT;Is it a good school? Does Rochester have a great school system, what schools do you recommend? What neighboring areas are a nice place to live?Do they have any crazy tax laws and fees.? I appreciate your suggestions.Thank you in advance.

That is a nice location. I use to live up around there about 10 years ago...Batavia, NY. There's a community on the outshirts of Rochester name Greece. It was considered the 21 safest city to live. If you can't find a place in Greece to live, I would look for a small town south of there. RIT has a great school for the Deaf. I would recommend it over Buffalo. I think the tax is 8%. Geneseo University is in a small little town, and then you have Genesee Community College in Batavia which is a nice location. All 3 of then are within 60 miles of each other. The weather can get bad with lake effect snow. I liked it there.
