Thanks Ashkon for the news on Karimi. I hope we get to see more of him!! Yeah I'm not feeling the greatest. Long story. Hope your right about Australia for 2010. I'll let you know about the crowds, I'm off to watch Sydney continue their battle for back to backs on Friday night. Can't wait. As for Van Persie, yeah, annoying injury, have had one myself..lol. Even though they beat us :(, I like Arsenal and Van persie, hope he recovers quickly.

i agree with nedved. i feel sorry for robin 'cuz he's really having a good season, 13 goals so far in 26 or so games...it's so freaky to get injured like that. i mean, celebrating your own goal?? that doesn't happen a lot, does it?
that report says he'll be out for at least 6 wks which means he'll be missing out on some really impt. games, the UCL knockout stage most esp.. that's quite a blow to arsenal's campaign but im staying positive on this. henry is in form, adebayor can be counted on for a few more goals, and the MFs are highly capable of scoring: gilberto, rosicky, cesc, baptista, etc. even toure can score, for that matter. all is not lost, hopefully.

Hey andygurl
Just wanted to let you know that Karimi is staying in BM. Also, even with Australia's players retiring from international football, they still should have an easy time making the WC. The country is developing from a football standpoint really quickly(growing quality of league etc)). I saw on TV the massive celebrations(20,000 people in Sydney with fires blazing) Nothing like that here in the US. All they do is drink beer(thats their cetlebration). This metatarsal injury is very common in footie for obvious reasons and the announcemen the will be out for 6 weeks will adversely affect Arsenal as he is their leading goalscorer(mostly due to Henry's injury time) and with a healthy Henry he is the linking forward so hes critical to their success. Probably the second most important player on Arsenal.. Hopefully, Henry, the second best player on the planet, plays sublimally to help the Gunners. Yes, Federer played beautifully yesterday.. did you hear the commentator say that the Swiss national team said they could have used him during the WC. They said Federer would have been a pro footballer if he didnt have tennis courts beside his house(his mom said this). Take care and hopefully you recover from your sickness. Best wishes.

Van Persie getting injured for Arsenal is like Ronaldo getting injured for Man Utd, so yes it will be a huge blow to their campaign, and i agree with LavaMan that u can tell how valuable he is becuz when he came on (Arsenal vs Man Utd) he changed the result!

Solid player. Won't really hurt their Premireship season because that is already to far gone to save. He is more important to their European success, as Henry hasn't exactly been injury free this year and the Rapist is the only option Arsenal has to replace him efficently.

Well, that's bad, I was celebrating his goal too but my metatarsal is quite fine. That is freaky. Arsenal scored only after Van Persie came on, so it will affect them.

huh?!?! He looked fine during the match!! man that sucks. but no worries. Arsenal still has Henry, Adebayor, Walcott, etc. I just hope it's nothing TOO serious as RVP is one of their key players.
