Okayyy :D

So im 12 years old. Me and my twin sister are throwing a valentines day party.. What are some good ideas for things we can do before everyone starts dancing. ?

How can we get the guys to dance too instead of just watching the girls?

Any fun games or things that will make the party be awsome? ;D

The age is 12-13... Please give good answers! Thanks!

the only thing about the random couple dances is that a lot of the people will be coming as couples and if a gal dances with someone elses boyfriend, like i just dont want lotsa tension D:

In honor of the ladies, make the first couple of dances "Girls Choice" dances...girls get to ask the guys to dance. Guys have to dance if asked to. Maybe that will break the ice a little. Or as they arrive at the party, have everyone draw out a numbered slip of paper and everyone with matching numbers dance together. Have pink numbers for the girls and blue for the boys to draw. Don't tell them what the numbers are for till you begin the number dance. It could be the first song or later on in the evening.

At my daughter's New Years party, she and her best friend made fortunes on tiny slips of paper and put then inside balloons and also put in confetti before blowing them up. Each guest got to pick a balloon and take it outside and pop it then had to read their fortune to the group. Some were funny. They also did charades.

Have fun!

Play a game like musical chairs with really fast paced music. Sounds cheesy but at my party it got everyone up and we are 14-15. As with the how to get the guys to dance I'm still trying to figure that out. It may help to play music they like. Hope this helps!

You could do a line dance lesson...teach everybody the dance at the same time, then have them do it! The boys might be more likely to dance if they don't have to do it one-on-one.

Another way to get the boys to talk to the girls, give everybody a number (girls one color, boys another). Give prizes for matched pairs. Boys and girls ask each other what their number is, when they find a match, they each get a small prize. Or give the prizes after each dance - make the boys dance with the girls in order to find out what her number is!

on the part of getting guys to dance.....Have you ever heard of sadie hawkins...It comes from the comic strip Lil'Abner
In dogpatch, one day a year the women were able to chase the men, and if they caught one, they would have to marry the girl

So at your party, make it a sadie hawkins party, where the girls pick the guy, and he has to dance with them

Give out little cards to put the boys names down, so the girls know at the end, how many different boys they danced with.

You don't want favoritism at this age
