You do not need to call a vet right away..
Simply just stop feeding him lettuce..remove all of it from his diet..
Make sure he has plenty of fresh water to drink and a fresh bowl of "pellets" or guinea pig feed at all times and watch to make sure he is eating and drinking..
Just keep an eye on him for any signs of illness or severe diarrhea..

Only call the vet if he shows sign of illness or has diarrhea for more than 1 day...

Discontinue the lettuce - if not having diarrhea at this time, he should be fine. I have fed lettuce to guinea pigs with no problems BUT cabbage is actually better for them. Most like cabbage and carrots - and I've not seen any problems from these treats. Remember, use as treats - he should be fed a regular diet of good quality guinea pig pellets and fresh water. Most enjoy alfalfa cubes also.

It's fine! Guinea Pigs LOVE raw vegetables, Mine especially loves red bell peppers and lettuce! They like squash too!

He'll be fine. But lettuce also can cause diarhea which can led to dehidration. My vet said only give romaine lettuce. iceburg has no nutrition value in it. He'll eat lots of differant vegs and fruit. Try differant things and see want he likes. Good luck with him. There wonderful pets
