Why in the world don't people understand that having unprotected sex can get you pregnant? Does anyone else feel depressed about all these girls don't realize how they get pregnant?

Yes. That's what I mean. They know HOW they got pregnant, but why don't they think before they act and take the proper precautions? I'm not saying they shouldn't have sex, I'm just saying they should use their heads.

i am tired of seeing all these am i pregnant questions.. and it always begins with... well my boyfriend and i had unprotected sex... end of story.. you just answered your own question... duh you have unprotected sex and you get pregnant.. yes it can happen when your on your period, when you just got off your period, even if the guy didn't cumm in you.. i swear.. Do they even still teach sex ed.. b/c it doesn't sound like it at all.. b/c when i was taught sex ed.. i was taught about pregnancy and even the symptoms to pregnancy... these girls make me want to cry b/c their parents probably thought they were still to young for the "talk"! I hope to goodness that my daughter is never on here asking ... am i pregnant??? I don't understand what is happening to our youth... there are 13 and 14 year olds out there having children and have no idea how to raise their children.. so that responsiblity is left to the parents.. who thought they were done raising their infants.. and here they have to take care of another one.. I'm sorry.. I can go on all day about this.. I'm glad my parents and teachers were awesome and taught me about unprotected sex and the warning signs if I was pregnant and I thank my mother for telling me to just let her know if I had any sex feelings and to just come to her so she can put me on birth control and get me some condoms.. b/c she didn't want to have to raise another child.. thank you mom
sorry i had to add to this... one I skip all those am i pregnant ones.. b/c I know for a fact 99.9% of them are teenagers asking if they are pregnant... this may be a forum.. but none of us can honestly say if they are pregnant... atleast other questions we have experience with... i mean just b/c she has sypmtoms of being pregnant and after 20 pg tests and they still say negative doesn't mean we are going to magically say yes your pregnant and that calms their fears... and i'm sorry to the mom who just posted about her daughter.... so sorry... but goodluck to you

Society has easily replaced on account that i grow to be that youthful! i grow to be such as you, wasn't even allowed to have a boyfriend at 14 (thank God)! i could no longer go places with my acquaintances with out grownup supervision till i grow to be 15 or sixteen, and easily nonetheless had a curfew. i think of adults now a fashion or the different think of it won't ensue to their young babies, or they're merely too busy to be conscious what's occurring. Alot of youngsters/tweens have not any verify living house after college and are unfastened to do what they want. I additionally think of that once youthful females do get pregnant, that they actually need to place the infant up for adoption, so as that mature in charge couples can undertake them right into a loving environment. i understand a pair of ladies that began having young babies at sixteen, and had like 4 or 5, and now their lives are extraordinarily messy.

its not their fault if nobody told them. how are they supposed to know....some of these girls may be younger than u think, sex ed dont start til ur 14....and if the parents decline that...theyre screwed. when ur that young u rely on ur friends for info....thats not gonna work..and there are so many myths out there...why do u think africa has such a high aids rate? they dont have the info they need and there are so many cultural myths that claim they wont get it....
its the same thing in this country with pregnancy...i know 20 somethings who think sperm dies when it hits air and u cant get pregnant from pre-***...what the hell. they just lack information.

I'm not depressed so much as I am just ANGRY - not at the kids, but at the parents!
There are so many pregnancy questions because too many people in the U.S. think that by not teaching sex ed courses, they're going to keep teenagers from having sex. All they're going to do that way is create lots of unwanted babies, because people are human, no matter what their age, and they WILL have sex. In my opinion, better sex ed in our schools is WAAAAAAAY overdue!

i totaly agree with you there are alot of 15-17 yr old girls on here asking am i pregnant could i be pregnant i think that any girl having sex and dont want babirs or to young for babies should use something birth control pills condoms something

don't tell anyone, but my freakin 14 year old daughter informed me she was sexually active (well, I beat it out of her, actually) and so up to the doctors we went, where we asked the doctor for birth control, and lo and behold, the preliminary preg test was positive! Holy F u K! I'm 33 years old, for gods sake, YES I wish all these freakin teenage girls would get it through their heads that IT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU!!!
The youngest living grandmother is 30. I don't know about you, but it makes me a little ill.

It is really depressing for fertility patients that do everything TO get pregnant and 16 year olds are getting pregnant constantly. I dont know why people keep asking Could I be Preganan? Just take a test and get it over with!!!

i do agree in some ways but in others teens need help yes of course they know what makes them get preg but they dont no what to do

yeah
its very sad when a good Christian girl say, one who was supposed to abstain till marriage so nobody told her anything.
then she is 15, pregnant and has aids, then its like , OH, that was sex? THAT'S why I'm pregnant, now I understand, harder to understand the aids thing though. Even harder to get used to it.
