Here is a story of a man who like you had a dream to make potato chips. Hope it encourages you to keep going.

On July 4, 1980, Cape Cod Potato Chips was born. With a modest factory in an 800 square foot store front on West Main Street in Hyannis, Massachusetts, Steve and Lynn Bernard set off to turn their dream into a reality. Using secondhand equipment and Ryder trucks to haul potatoes from a farm more than 100 miles away in Maine, Cape Cod Potato Chips quickly started to catch on. Throughout New England, a cult-like following began to grow.

Recipe for Success:
Fresh potatoes are peeled, sliced and cooked in 300 degrees for five to six minutes. The cooked chips are then dropped into a centrifuge to spin off the excess fat. Next, the chips ride a conveyor belt to cool as they reach the end of the road. Every chip is carefully inspected and then bagged
