I myself like Scott Cunningham, but am curious as to what other good, informative authors I should check out.

I much prefer the "Idiot's Guide To Wicca..." and the "Wicca For Dummies" books. Unlike the books by mainstream authors, these are very eclectic and do not seem to preach to just one tradition. Don't be misled by the titles! The Dummies' and Idiots' Guides are really great book series for learning just about anything.

Seeing all these suggestions on here... there should be some central "pagan library" where we could trade and share books with locals. I would love to read all of these suggested books, but can neither afford to buy them nor find a library in the Middle-Of-The-Middle -Of-Nowhere in Pennsylvania that carries a Wiccan selection.

I agree with Cunningham. Raymond Buckland is also very good especially in regard to Wicca.
