Be aware, if you drive a motor vehicle without insurance, you are breaking the law, and if caught you will be busted for it, being busted will definitely cost you more than the insurance itself, and if you crash, and do damage to any property, another vehicle or hurt (even kill someone) you are going to be in an awful lot of trouble, and the courts are ready to attend to your cash, your freedom, and where you are going to be living for anywhere from a few months to the rest of your life, just to tell you that the insurance premiums are a very good way to stay out of bother with the authorities, understand this though, Insurance can be expensive, you can pay the price of good insurance over the whole year, which will make it easier for you to manage the cost of it. and when you have it be glad of it, and drive responsibly, as an accident free years driving, will help you keep the price down for the year after, its called no claims discount (bonus) and remember to only drive when you are competent, and SOBER. No you cannot drive a motor on a road without insurance, unless the car owner has you on his insurance as a named driver, or he has a fully comprehensive insurane cover which covers any driver. You can only drive without insurance on private land or a private road. You cannot drive in a car-park owned by the council . If you drive in a privately owned car park you will need the permission of the owner.

Only if either the car owners insurance covers any driver, or if you're on private land.
Practising or not, driving on the public roads without insurance cover will get you at least 6 points on your license.

Definitely not!! Not only are you a huge risk to the public but to yourself also. If you get caught you're likely to have your licence withdrawn (even if it's a provisional) and you wont be able to reapply for at least 18months. When it comes to you getting your own car and insurance, your premium will be higher as a result of you losing your licence. Not worth the hassle in my books!!

yes you can drive any car you like without insurance.
BUT as others have said only on private land (which can include supermarket / shopping centre car parks). factories or other non made up roadds.
This does assume that you ave permission to drive the car.....
AND that any damage done to the car or anyone/anything else is your responsibility, as you have no insurance

you must be insured on the car in which you wish to learn in. so if you wish to learn in a family members car or a friends then they must make sure you are insured on that car.

Sure why not, it is a free country. Just remember if you wreck not only does it go against you, but it also goes against your friends insurance.
