Are there any restaraunts on Alcatraz? Is there any activity center like a bowling alley? If so, please tell me.

there are no services on the island of alcatraz. like a bowling alley. You can go to the bookstore, docent led tours or self guided to and take a look at the exhibits on display as well as short video of the rock. There are no food services available, however you can bring food and use the picnic facilities on the island.

You can purchase tickets to board the Red/White or Blue/White fleet from Pier29 in San Fran and then take a boat ride there and follow a tour of the jail cell. When I was there I did not see a restaurant/bowling alley. I know they had grounds where the staff for the prison used to live but that was not open to the public when I was there two years ago.

it used to be like a museum but im pretty sure its closed now
