No it is not rude, how can you not smell them when you are so close.

if you are just hugging someone i dont see anything wrong with you smelling him or her what ever i mean how can you just hug somebody without smelling them even for a second you cant stand up and hold your breath .that would be stupid if you did that dont you think?

smell them in a bad way or a good way lol. i dont think it's too rude, unless it's made into a big thing.

how could you not smell them if you are hugging them. one day try to hug someone who is wearing Coco channel what areal treat.i use to work with someone and when i wore this fragrance he would stand close just to smell me and he told me that.

No it's not rude at all. It happens allot, I mean how can you not smell them. It's perfectly normal. Don't trip.

No.......I love the way my husband smells. Just don't go overboard and act like an animal.

well no because u should be able to smell them if you are that close.....i wouldnt make it obvious but if you do and they smell good tell them....a compliment never hurt anyone

no because when i hug my bf, i smell him because he smells good :) lol, but i dont think its rude. i like it when people smell me. i think its pretty cool....lol

Erm... I don't know. It sounds kind of weird to me than rude because you are hugging them and you have to breathe but if you smell the person on purpose, idk.
