Jerry's right; you want to go to the start menu and click on Search, then enter a word from the name of the medications file, and it will look for that file on your computer.

To see what is on a windows machine you can use Windows Explorer. After it is open you will see a list, sorta , of the items on the Drive. The list has X and - boxes, click the X to expand a folder. then highlight or select by left click on the folder and the contents will appear in the right side of the Explorer Panel.
I have a short term memory issue also, I use help ALOT! ,sometimes the help thing doesn't cover it so I net search, then I put the most relevant help and how to in a folder on the desktop for future needs.
I use Ubuntu Linux now it promotes learning.

Are you talking about the task manager? Right click on the bar at the bottom of your screen and click on "task manager." That may or may not give you the info you need. I'm still a little confused by your question.
