No, not in our house. We have 2 Siberian Huskies - nothing lays on the floor in our house for 5 seconds; 3 seconds, maybe. Definitely not 5 - one of our dogs will have spotted it and eaten it by then.

Unfortunately..... we have a two second rule. Two seconds after you drop it.... the dog is there lapping it up. *shrugs*

I never get the chance to employ the 5 second/5 second rule. Darn dog!

for me, once it starts falling (still airborn) its in the trash...i dont care!

five seconds my azz! what if there was a dead animal or crap on that exact spot! (of course this is outside)

if its in my house, it can be on the floor all day, I will still eat it...our floor is clean!
