The time involved to build is not that long. It will take longer to pull the proper permits, get an environmental impact report, get approval from the EPA and to get the inspectors to agree. Oh, yes, don't forget to hire an attorney to handle the lawsuits filed by the neighbors, and the two filed by the ACLU, and the one filed by the local labor union. GOOD LUCK! And God speed!

It all depends on the size of the ark, the resources of building materials, your own skill, natural acts of God or nature and your own life span.

Hopefully you also have an inheritance so that you can devote all your time to building it.
