You could miss a month if you are a little (or a lot) tense and nervous about it. I'm not saying you are, but I know of a lot of women who get very stressed out trying to get pregnant so they throw off their systems and they skip their monthly period. If the test shows you are negative, try to relax a little and see what happens. If you skip two periods in a row (and a retest still shows you are not pregnant), I think it is time to visit your gynecologist. Good luck.

Yes, you can miss periods and ovulate the next month. -- But if you don't start again, take another test, or see the doctor! Missing more than one isn't normal and something might be wrong!-- Which may be why you can't get pregnant!

How late are you? You might have taken the test too early. When you take a pregnancy test you use your first morning urine. It has the most concentrated hormones in it. You could possibly miss a whole month, but is that normal for you???

It can be sometimes. Best thing to do right now is to speak with your doctor or someone who has been threw this.
