There has to be someplace that has a collection of past years knitting yarns that they have stored and want to get rid of. Would love any feedback...:)...thanks. I am in queensland Australia.

I don't know about any yarn companies or stores that have horded their collection, but you can always find great deals on ebay. Try searching for "mill ends" and see what you can get. It's generally cheaper than the normal skeins.

Also, check out local consignment shops. I've had some good luck with that when people are just trying to get rid of their stashes.

One more thing to try is Freecycle, if it is available in your area. You can sign up for alerts for specific things that pop up in your area.

Good luck! I'm always looking for that great bargain myself.

Get it at Ebay! works every time. and trust me it is cheap!
