I live in Romania, the country where the legend of vampires was born. Around 1400, Vlad Tepes lived here and ruled. He was one of the best ruler ever, there are many stories and legends that about him. But the one that focus all the others around it's that he was a vampire. Or the first known vampire.
I saw on the news like 2 years ago, a story about a town where everybody believes in vampires and they have some weird rituals to prevent the dead turn into a vampire. They unburied dead, and they found them turned in different positions, and with blood at their mouth. It was very scary to see that...

I believe everything is possible in the world. I hope vampires do exist.

No, there are no vampires. It all started with a fictitious book that was made into a movie, 'Dracula'. In reality Count Dracula (a real person) wasn't even a vampire, he was only used for the subject matter. A "real" vampire is purported to be a dead person that comes alive again at night to find human blood in order to keep the cycle going. In modern times, weirdos claim they know of, or are themselves a vampire because they drink blood. That doesn't make them a vampire, that makes them "blood-drinking weirdos". To counter the argument that one has to be dead to be a "real" vampire, they change the rules.

Psychic vamps exist. They feed off a person's energy. There are other vampires who drink blood and stay only come out at night. Mostly they get donors to drink blood from.

Hello, Hi!
Blood drinkers exist, yes! Definitely. Some admitted getting blood from the free donors in hospitals. They find plenty of blood there. Vampires always existed in old times and everywhere in the world. They are called ghouls, sometimes grave robbers. Medieval tales romanced the deed and films making followed. Of course, all is half truth but please don't be naive.
Vampirism is a branch of cannibalism and anthropophagy which also exists everywhere in the world, keep that in mind at the back of your head..
But don't worry your friend is not going to bite you.
Regards.

A Vampire is simply a being that can't create enough of it's own spiritual energy to support itself, so it must get it from another source. They are believed to have a hole or damaged spot in their astral/spiritual body. This is a lot like a paper cup with a hole in it. You continue to pour water into it but it slowly leaks all of it out. No matter how much water you pour into it, the cup never stays full. This is the technical definition of what exactly a Vampire is. So most feed on raw energy of the spirit some do drink blood....they are not immortal but some do heal rapidly and rarely get sick....some even live for a while longer...They also do tend to be photosensitive so sun hurts but doesn't kill...garlic and holy water don't do anything but because many have really keen senses the smell of garlic may be unpleasant....they die just like anyone else in the same ways....

Some are "goth" and go to "vampire clubs" and like to dress like a "movie vampire" a lot don't. I'd almost say most dont....The ones you've seen on "The secret lives of Vampires" aren't that great either...not bad but not true to their condition...they try to play it up a bit for TV and not to inform the public...Vampirism is really more a a burden than anything.... Also the consumption of blood(which a lot vampires don't do either) is not recreational. It's how they get the extra energy they need to survive...let me explain more

Most vamps would classify themselves as either Sanguinarian(blood drinking) or Psi(energy draining) both are different ways of accomplishing the same thing...getting prana or life force energy to keep them well...though some may claim the sang and psi are different they are one in the same..it's just the different ways they prefer to feed that sets them apart...nothing more. sang or psi is a choice. any Vampire can feed on any type of energy...

They are not role playing or crazy..thy just have a spiritual deficiency ...they're not sexy or psycho killers or anything like in movies...they're people and are just as varied and diverse and unique as any other group of people.

Cutting oneself to get blood is also a big NO,NO....It only drains you even more and is of no benefit...it simply makes things worse.

You can't become one either....you must be born there for there are no requirements...you can't truly be turned either...

Turning...yet another taboo subject. In the vampire community it is generally considered a BIG no,no. I would have to agree that one cannot be permanently turned into a vampire. You have to be born with this condition. You cannot just decide you want to be a vampire and ask you best friend to make you one. It doesn't work that way. It just can't be done. Some say that if a vampire and mundane were to exchange enough spiritual energy one could turn another into a vampire. However this would need A LOT of energy and would cause damage to both the vampire and the human... it's honestly not worth it. no one would want to do it any way. It requires too much energy to actually be done for real. The vampire most likely wouldn't be able to take it. There are however things that may seem like turning.

Sometimes when a vampire feeds from their donor too often or take to much energy in one sitting the donor may develop vampiric like symptoms. They may become weak and need energy and maybe even crave blood. This however is temporary. After having fed a few times they will return to normal and not an alternative source of energy any longer, unless of course they were a vampire all along and weren't awake yet. So one can have vampiric tendencies for s short time due to a large loss of energy but permanently become a vampire.

Psychic feeding techniques can actually be learned. Feeding is a talent that any human can learn on there own. it's simply taking energy form somewhere else and using it to your benefit. So you can learn to feed but you still aren't a vampire because you don't actually NEED that energy... you just know how to take and use it. Even some may be able to TAKE it but not know how to USE it....

So in reality you can't be turned into a vampire...or any other type of otherkin. these are things your soul is born with and can't be changed...ever. I don't get why people want to become vampires any way...it actually kind of sucks....

~Nox

I hope this helped you out.... There is no hard "proof" of our existance but there is no hard proof we actually have a spirit...there's no proof of "God"(however you view it/him/her/them) Sometimes we must just take a leap of faith!

I think that it's difficult to say that any creature does or does not exist given humanity's limited knowledge of the universe or different dimensions.
Also, I wouldn't trust movies for your research. Movies are mostly produced to sell tickets. Look up the information yourself in libraries, bookstores etc.

Well, I have a friend that is quite similar to a real vampire, and I'm not kidding. And there are a lot of vampires out there: you just might be too inexperienced to see them.

Look for these symptoms: Rarely eating and sleeping, avioding heat and sun(they DO come out when it's sunny and daytime), favoring the cold, and fast speed that is just inhuman, super-strength(practically), and quick reflexes.

They do exist, but not like the movies. They are not immortal. You can find actual clubs in the LA area that cater to vampires.
they do drink human blood, often by cutting themselves and sharing their blood. You could probably find some reference to them if you google "vampires"

Vampires don't exist. There are probably some people out there who drink blood for whatever reason, but they don't transform into bats, they don't vaporize in the sun, and they don't have real fangs.

Vampires like blood...that's about it. They don't hate light...they don't only eat blood...they don't fly. That's all myth..

Vampires can be anyone (but don't get all paranoid). Most of them live in parallel planes.
