I live in Oklahoma City, and I love it. I have lived in VanNuys Calif. , Louisiana, Texas, and Florida, but I always missed Oklahoma. I don't like extended cold weather, so I won't live up north. I love the sunshine, the wind here, the people, how close it is to travel to anywhere in the US, the lakes, the food, etc. A friend of mine says,"Its a big city with a small town atmosphere, like Mayberry RFD". PS: Don't tell anyone else, it's one of the best kept secrets in the US. The rest of the country still thinks the cowboys and Indians are fighting each other here.

Mississippi, about 2 hours from the Gulf of Mexico. I've traveled the United States a bit, also to England, France & Egypt, but when I return home I literally want to kiss the ground. It's such a laid back, peaceful place. The summers are hot but the winters are pretty mild. I just love nature & living in the country. Plus most of my loved ones are here.
Big cities are fun to visit but too crowded for me.

I live in Washington, a quick ferry ride from Seattle.

I love it. I know it rains a lot but the weather is always so mild. Our summers are warm, but not too warm and our winters are cold and we occasionally get snow but its bearable.

I can drive two hours in each direction and get to the ocean, the mountains, the desert (sorta, Eastern WA is pretty desolate), the metropolis, Canada or Oregon.

Its always green and we never have any big natural disasters like tornados, flooding (where I live there are no major rivers) wildfires, snowstorms and hurricanes.

Just the occasional earthquake (and we wont admit it but we secretly kinda like earthquakes)

and the seafood here is fantastic. and the indian casinos.

Yes, I live in the USA. I live in the state of michigan right along the beautiful LAKE HURON shoreline. I love it here because of all her natural beauty. Michigan has it all great fishing swimming and boating in the summer. Excellent snowmobiling and skiing in the winter. and no matter where you are in the state you are no more than an hours drive from any of the inland lakes rivers or streams. Myself I am five minutes away from one of the most beautiful Lakes in the world and I wouldn't leave this area for nothing.

Yes, I live in Southern California. Riverside County. It is just north of San Diego, and East of LA and Orange County. It's ok living here, but honestly, i wish I lived in another state. California tends to be for the "shallow".

I live in the DC Metropolitan Area. There are a lot of things to do and see; but the only problem is I don't like winter. So, do you live in a tropical place or wish to be there one day?

I live in south-central Nebraska in USA, the kind of place you can leave your keys in the car all night and know the name of almost everyone in town. Love how laid back it is and also like the changing seasons. Can't say I felt this way when I was younger though! LOL

Born here and will die here. Have traveled to many other places, but always want to come back here. I could never live anywhere else, no matter how beautiful. Texas... it's a state of mind.

Rural New York. I love it. It's beautiful. Mountainous, waterfalls, wildlife and only a two hour train ride from Grand Central. The best of both worlds. (-:
