It's also possible for them all to be 0 wins, 0 losses, 16 ties (which is also .500) or any combination in between.

It's highly unlikely. It would be like flipping a coin 16 times and getting 8 heads. Then flipping 31 more coins 16 times each and getting 8 heads for each one. Possible, but not likely.
