There are programs you can run on the computer to record whatever happens on the screen (or sections of the screen). Do a search on 'screen capture software' (without quotes).
I don't know any free ones off the top of my head but may pay ones have a limited function free version.

A web-cam is the easiest way to record any or most picture/videos, my web-cam keeps a good watch on my car, prked on the street, made by 'creative camera' theres a disc in the box and all the instructions for you in the box, cost £19.oo available at PC world, and the microphone self sticks to your monitor, great for Yahoo messenger usage, saves all that typing and waiting for all the responses. don't just sit there, go get it and have fun. You can set your web-cam anywhere in the room, and it will work for you, or even point it at your monitor and it will record both sound and vision too, or get yorself a good book on computer usage, readers digest do a good one for £25 +post and packing. enjoy... regards..... For one thing, print screen will only capture an image, but to actually record a video of what is occuring on you screen you have to download certain software. One screen capture software that I recommend is River Past Screen Recorder, It is not freeware, but you can download a trial at http://www.download.com/River-Past-Screen-Recorder/3000-2194_4-10260655.html?tag=lst-0-2 , for freeware screen recorders, go to http://www.download.com/3120-20_4-0-1-0.html?qt=screen+recorder&author=&titlename=&desc=&dlcount=&daysback=&swlink=&gfiletype=&os=&li=49&dlsize=&ca=
