What did they do to this game is that they combine almost every character for Mortal Kombat 1, 2 and 3 while keeping the same plot of the game. However, some of the stages from the previous edition are no longer available and the introduction text sequence as well.

What is the official title?
Since there is no official announcement and the movie isn't made at this moment (August 24, 2006) there is no official title. It was rumoured to be Domination, but later in 2005 Devastation was mentioned on the official site. Since it was so long ago it can be assumed that the title might change. The best and most accurate title'd be Mortal Kombat 3 or Mortal Kombat III.

If so, they gotta' get Lambert back as Rayden, but to be honest, it wouldn't surprise me, they're reviving every other fallen franchise these days, just hope Talisa Soto has got some better acting lessons by now.
