Yob culture is predominately found in the UK.

The word 'Yob originates from the word 'boy' written backwards. A sort of 'anti-boy' if you will. It used to apply to males of the ages 18-29 but now applies to nearly any age.

A yob is characterised by activates which are usually anti-social such as heavy drinking, abusive behaviour, loitering, use of recreational drugs and lack of respect of the authorities.

The word 'yob' has been replaced, in some cases, with a regional variation. In England this word is 'chav' and in Scotland it has been replaced by the word 'ned'.

We call them yobbos down under, bunch of uncouth, drunken idiots causing trouble, rev heading around the street at three oclock in the morning with ridiculously load music thumping or simply just standing outside your house at the same time arguing.
