Amazon has a batch of free (and legal!) music downloads. Not the tulatest top 40 stuff but sometimes cool music by unknowns (or not so unknowns) who want to get their music heard.

i would suggest you go to download.com
and theres a few free softwares you can download like limewire or kazaa
and you will find alot of stuff for free.
