Tiger Woods 2006 (psp) comes with a 1.52 downgrader. I have a TA-082 motherboard: Is it safe to downgrade?

I have Tiger Woods 2006 for my PSP and it came out, I guess, before 1.5 firmware because it comes with a 1.52 "upgrader," but in my case (I have 3.03 firmware) downgrader. I've never downgraded using that, so I want to know IF IT WOULD GET BRICKED, and ALSO: if any games come with a 1.5 updater?
