Ok, my mom had twins, and her mom (my grams) had twins. ALso, my husband's sister had spontaneous triplets (conceived triplets w/o any help) does this increase my chance of having multiples???

Yup, it sure does. I found out I was pregnant with twins, and after researching I found there was only 2 sets of twins in my family in last 200 years. I'd say you have a better chance than I ever did.

Yes. Twins run on both sides of my family, even some twins had twins. I had twins also.
Not sure of the statistics, but from experience, I would say: Plan for one, but don't be surprised when you get two or more.
This could happen very easily also if you need any help at all to become pregnant: ie. fertility drugs.

Yes, because your family obviously ovulates with more than one egg(if they have fraternal twins) fraternal runs in the family(moms side). It will not run from your husbands side, it's a female thing, the more eggs released, the higher ur chance. You're in the same spot as me girl! If you want multiples, goodluck!

Well there is a risk of having miltiples with fertility drugs... but if you are really serious and want a child... additional should make you happy.. I wouldn't say "I don't want to end up..." I would love to have many children as long as you can support and love them.. but if God gives you seven... it shouldn't matter to you. You should be happy and not thinking u end up with them.
