Because I'm pretty darn happy most of the time, and it always amazes me when some people can't stand that.

I find cheerful people inspirational. Even though life is tough and many bad things happen, we should get over our problems and realize that our issues are what we should learn from not stress over.

Truly cheerful people are wonderful. Miserable people who act cheerful just because they want attention irritate the hell out of me.

Both. The only time I wouldn't like someone like that is if I felt bad about something and didn't feel like being cheered up at the moment.

I love cheerful people!! I am a cheerful person so that is probably why but why would you hate a cheerful person! they are just happy people and hating them just means that you are just jealous that you are not cheerful or you have a bad attitude!

It really depends on my mood -- I can either want to strangle the person or I find it infectious...but probably usually I find it irritating.

I find them great. Only a very miserable, jealous person would find them irritating. Crabs in a bucket ya know...

If they're not faking being cheerful, it's nice but if they're faking it, it bugs the crap out of me.

I enjoy being around genuinely happy people. it is a lot better than being around someone who is mad!
