Why do some whites complain about minorities?

I'm am so tired of white people whining about how they are treated. You guys are at the top of the race pole so stop whining. When is the last time you saw a black president? Do you get pulled over by cops all of the time just for driving in your car? Do you always wonder if someone thinks you are lesser because you aren't white?

Did you ever wonder what it is like to be a minority? Have you ever dated a woman of another race? It ain't fun my friend and you have done your part to make minorities become minorities. Admit to your elevated position in society and stop trying to pretend that you care when someone calls you a stupid racist name like honkey. I don't even know what honkey means. Anyway, why don't you talk to some real minorities or better yet, date one and maybe you'll understand the struggle of trying to suceed.

They believe that African Ameriacans should forget all the gross injustice that has been done to them. I mean I don't have slavery in my ancestry but I would be very pissed of at their vile and atrocious actions!!!

It depends on a lot of factors. Where the person is born, how they are raised, and life experiences are main factors. Also misplaced anger and ignorance/stupidity can work too.

In a place where Caucasians are the majority (United States, Canada, and Europe for example) it can be easy to find white racists because they generally don't know what it's like to be discriminated against based on their race. Generally mind you, they can be.
A person can be raised racist too. If they are born into a family where the members are already racists then you have a good chance of the person becoming racist, though there is also a chance of the person rejecting the offered teachings and becoming one of the "bleeding heart liberals" that many racists like to ***** about because these people have seen hate up close and personal.
Life experiences help and hinder as well. A white child who is picked on every day for her/his entire elementary/middle school life by a group of black or Hispanic or Asian kids (or any mixture of races, any "not their own") may grow up to have hatred towards those people even if they come from a very loving, understanding family. They even might be very caring and loving to all other races and groups of people (homosexuals, crippled, what have you) but dislike the one race that they feel wronged them.

Now misplaced anger is a source of temporary racism. Normally a type of scapegoat anger. Let's say a man is laid off from his job, his wife leaves him, and his house is repossessed. He's mad. Then he hears about illegal immigrants coming across the boarder and "taking jobs." He blames all his current problems on illegal immigrants when before all this happened he might have shown no signs of racism.
Ignorance and stupidity make racism even more eligible to take root. A person who is ignorant is much less likely to see the flaw in their logic of "a person who has more melanin (skin color) than I am isn't REALLY a person" than a person who has an education. A person who is culturally aware know that the Islamic religion isn't founded in hate. Those who aren't are more likely to take things at face value though.

Now, you also have to realize that Caucasians ARE a minority of people now. Just in the certain countries they are the majority. Asians make up the majority of the population, thought I do not know the next of the statistics. And in countries where Caucasians aren't the majority, they can have just as hard a time as people do in Caucasian majority countries.

Okay, some white people still feel superior--and that is a disgrace in this day and age.

Not all white people have it so good--and white people have also been profiled--particularly if young driving a decent car.

Our family has been the minority in a few places we lived. We were the only whites in an Hispanic community for over one year, and we were the only whites in a Black community for over one year. Yes, I do understand--though some people were nice to us, we felt they really resented us being there (we had no choice, in either case).

No, we have not yet had a Black president--but we have not had a Native American president, an Hispanic president, a Jewish president, a female president, and we had only one Catholic president.

Personally, I hear a lot more minority people complaining about 'whitie', than visa-versa. Right now we live in a very culturally and racially mixed neighborhood.

The problem with all of this is: we have a freaking war going on--we should not be screwing with each other--but getting together to get something done politically--to put an end to the war. We are wasting valuable time messing with each other.

You think white people have it easy because we are white so thats our ticket to success? That is as far from the truth as you can get!
Blacks have all the same tools that we do to reach success in life.Where I get pissed is that the blacks get a free pass to some jobs due to laws saying they have to hire a certain amount of minorities no matter what. I think it should come down to who ever has the best qualifications for the job not skin color. So that is where the black people have an unfair advantage due to some of the laws made up in your favor. You guys are just hurting yourselves and the rest of us by lowering the standards instead of making yourselves better. I think more people would show more respect to blacks if they would apply themselves instead of using the discrimanation card. I have some black friends that have made somthing of themselves and are some of the hardest and smartest workers out there that try to distance themselves from alot of the normal crybaby blacks saying the white people have it so easy. Yes the past has not been good to the blacks and in no way do I support how you all have been treated in this country. But honestly tell me you cant get jobs just because your black now days. Thats just an excuse for not applying yourselves. Same for us white people. I just cant go in and say I am going to be a pilot because I am white I get the job. Thats NUTS. We all have the training at our disposal. We just need to apply ourselves.

i imagine that's only an basic case of judging the finished from a go with few. Like a white man or woman judging all blacks to be uneducated cocaine dealing welfare sponges because of dealings with a go with few in that type. similar is going for an advised black kinfolk residing next to a collection of white crack hoes. Or 10 mexicans who pile into one pickup truck. that's no longer the finished race that should be judged by technique of those go with few...they merely provide the race a foul call or a foul rap.....and that stinks! i'm very fortunate that I actually have not in any respect been prejudiced adverse to and that i'm hoping not in any respect to in my opinion come upon it. i recognize that I actually have racist innovations once in a lengthy time period and recognize that i bypass beserk when I see the mexicans down the line leaving their beer cans on the backyard at the same time as they crank up their freekin' circus music and letting their chickens run amok with the help of the streets. yet to imagine that each and every black guy who I see drives a Mercedes must have stolen that's in user-friendly words asinine. i'm hoping you actually do see the strong in each and every race and in one and all....i imagine it can make the international a a lot extra reachable position to stay in.

It's a two way street, buddy and some blacks are just as racist as some whites are. And also, not ALL whites are racist just like not ALL blacks are racist. And actually blacks complain about whites a lot....they hold racism over their heads every day. So please, don't act like a victim. White people try very hard not to offend. If everybody could just get along and stop acting like they're on some kind of pedastal, the world would be SUCH a better place.

Because some whites have been abused because of racially motivated individuals. I am Mulatto and I look more white than black. I spent the first 11 years of my childhood in the 1960's in Compton, California and I was robbed of my freedom to be a child because I was complaining about blacks? Get real! The blacks in Compton terrorized my family during my childhood and I am not mad and I don't complain. I never terrorized them. It was the other way around. Globally, we are actually NOT at the top of the 'race pole' population wise anyway,

we are the world's minority.

But we ARE the richest and most powerful! ---been that way for a long time and it doesn't look like it's going to change any time soon...because we are smart, innovative and adaptable.

Some people just rely on the anonymity of yahoo to vent their frustrations and say what is truly in their hearts. It is amazing the amount of ignorance in the world. It makes you wonder about the people you relate to everyday. What do they really think about us? Just take comfort in the fact that these people are cowards and don't let it get to you.
