Bears fan here I just wanted to congradulate you on an incredible season. You guy's have a awesome football team one I'm sure is going to make you proud for years to come. I can't believe I didn't jump around and scream like an idiot when it was over. I felt good my team won, but I still can't forget what you have all been through, Katrina greatly affected me also but I was one of the lucky ones I was living in Galveston Tx. at the time it easly could have been us. My heart goes out to you, people from La. are some of the best people I have ever met in my life. You are some of the most resilent folks on this planet. Take pride in youselves and your team because you deserve it!

Me and all true Saints fans are truly grateful for the season we just had. This team defintely exceeded all preseason expectations by far, but it still hurts to get this far and fall short. True fans aren't on here making excuses for this and that. We turned the ball over too many times. It's a time-tested rule that when you turn the ball over more times than your opponent, you lose the game. It's as simple as that. It has nothing to to do with Katrina or voodoo or being "America's team" or anything like that. All of that stuff is media propoganda that in actually has next to NOTHING to do with playing the game of football. Katrina affected me too, but everyone here in New Orleans is slowly but surely moving on, and there's nothing more that we would want but for the rest of the country to move on too.
We will be back next season. I just hope that we are recognized for being a good football team, and all of the Katrina storyline and all of that isn't intermixed so much with the team's obvious talent.
Thanks for being classy though. Some of your bretheren could learn a lesson from you. Good luck to your Bears in the Super Bowl.

I totally agree with you. The Saints had a fabulous season and played a great game. Shawn Payton has done a wonderful job with his team and they should be proud of what they have accomplished this season.
