Overtime pay in Ontario?

Question

I am a student, many times i have to work past the closing time because i do not get enough time to finish my duties. Usually it is 15 to 30 min. Am i entitled to Overtime time? I looked on the Ontario Labour Rights and it says i am only entitled if i work more than 44 hours? I am confused, can someone help me out and proivde me with a official (government) website?

part time staff are only paid for the hours the work. Only after the have worked 44hr/wk consistantly are you eligable for 1 ½
As for those few minutes after each shift, you need to talk to your supervisor
