I hate to tell you this but... Any solvent that can remove the glue will also damage the paint. Your best bet is to either have a body shop remove the glue and repair the paint or remove the glue yourself with acetone and then repaint the areas where the acetone removed the paint.

a body shop has a tool called "eraser" that can get it off in 2 seconds without harming the paint job

I have remove such with a can of " Bug and Tar " remover I picked up at Pep Boy's store, and it did not hurt the paint.

you can use a heat gun on it ,or 3m makes a spray you can spray on it ad it almost freezes it off,it works real well and doesn't harm the paint none at all, i have used it a lot and its the best method for doing this,,good luck i hope this help,s.

I use penetrating oil, like WD40. It does not hurt auto paint. Wipe it on, let it set for a few minutes then wipe with a clean cloth.

Try using a blow dryer to soften the glue, don't hold it in one spot, just make quite a few passes,then attempt to peel the glue off.
