Well, ever since we installed a new CD-ROM drive, it has been saying "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. The network connection was refused. Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again." but the internet connection is fine.. what should I do?

You may have firewall program turn on that is blocking itunes application from connecting to the internet check to make sure your windows firewall is turned off or is set to allow access to itunes and also if you have another anti-virus or firewall program check to make sure it is set to allow access to itunes application then you should try launching itunes again.

What kind of Computer Operating System are you using?
It doesn't make sense that your CD-ROM drive installation would effect how the iTunes Store connects to the network.

Here's the main support page for the iTunes Store;

Try going under control panel and going to add or remove programs. Then under change/remove programs, click change, and it should update it in any way it needs to. If this doesn't work, I really don't know what to tell you, but I hope it does!

Re install it. Sometimes it just can't go.
