Pretty much everyone does. You get tornadoes or blizzards or tsunamis or dust storms. Here, we get tornadoes and we just had an ice storm.
Boy, weather's fun, isn't it? Mother Nature has it in for us.

No, I am fortunate enough to live in an area where the weather is constantly beautiful, depending on how you choose to look at the situation.
New England has beautiful springs, usually moderate summers with occasionally temps above 100F, a fall with the glorious array of mother natures colors at her finest, and the winter can be spectacular a carpet of smooth white snow, and ice crystal palaces dazzling in the sunlight.
I respect the fury of mother nature but admire her beauty just the same.
My sincere condolences to all those who have lost loved ones or precious treasures any of the devastating weather occurrences throughout the world.

Yes. I live near Melbourne in Australia and much of the state is on fire at the moment. The weather has been incredibly hot and dry, so it's a very bad bushfire season. Fire fighters from the States and New Zealand have even had to come over to help. Over a million hectares have been burned this summer already.

Maui Hawaii. But it hasnt seen anything too bad lately. Kaui has seen some bad hurricanes. 1992 was a pretty bad year for them. They are at the end of the chain so are prone to more direct weather patterns, where as Maui is sort of protected by other islands in the chain.

I moved here 6 months ago from sunny California where the earth moved once in awhile but at least you didn't know it was coming. Now, I live where they have tornado's but not since I have been here. The worst so far is the really ugly bugs I have seen here.

Hurricanes are a possibility but are rarely above a cat1 when they hit. Usually we get the remnants from what comes up the coast. I'm on the eastern shore of MD.
