Where does the passion go???

I have been with my husband for almost 5 years. We have been married for two. We have 3 children, 1yo, 3yo and a 7yo from my previous marriage. The passion is gone...we dont even sleep together anymore, we have become more friends than lovers. He is my best friend....but I miss my lover. I have lost the drive to try...any suggestions???

Romance, men like to be romanced too! Flirt with him in public and whenever you two are at home. Hold hands more often, go out on a date...just the two of you, and wherever he happens to fall asleep that where you go to get you some girl. If he sleeps on the couch, go wake him up for, as my husband likes to call it, Mr. Nasty Time!!!

Sounds like you two are just in a 'marriage rut'...

There are many ways to get out of it, the key is to work at getting out of it and do it, and keep it up.

Dates, swap kids with another mom so you two can have the house to yourselves, see a counselor, go to church groups with couples your age with day care available, just don't give up on it.

And make a rule, open communication and sleeping together is very important. Don't lose it.

Keep trying and spice up things in the bedroom for you and for him. If you need marriage or sex counseling then go get it and try to help you marriage that way.
