My computer says it is "minutest", but I think it sounds funny. I would appreciate some help. I am writing a composition paper.

as always with language-it's the context it's used in -either is ok depending on the inference and inflection

I believe that most minute is acceptable, more so than minutest.

it's minutest. meaning the most extremely small

I would say most minute but I think either is acceptable
