First of all, you need to get the baby to latch on correctly. I suggest you call the maternity ward at your hospital and ask to speak with a lactation consultant. If you can't do this for some reason I would try to contact a local branch of the La Leche League, your hospital should have contact info, or you can easily find them online (link in sources). There is information online, but having someone there to help you is far easier.
You can use pumps, but they are far less efficient than your baby will be. You can also try expressing milk by hand, the lactation institute link I have included gives illustrated instructions for the Marmet technique of hand expression. I have included the Dr. Sears site that illustrates proper latch on.
You need to get things moving quickly. Although it is possible to 're-lactate' all lactation consultants have told me that getting the baby started right away is best.

? baby cant catch the nipple? are you getting your nipple hard before trying to insert it in babies mouth? if you are extremley full you need to express some of the milk before giving to the baby if your breast is too full it will be hard for baby to latch on. but as for making the milk back, you can use a breast pump or express by hand while in the shower. but nursing frequntly will help keep your milk coming in good, you are supose to nurse like every 2 hrs until your milk comes in good then you can move to every 2 and a half hours.

Your milk is proably just coming in so you need to make sure to empty both breasts after every feeding. Just keep putting the baby to the breast and he will catch on. I bought one of those Medela double electric pumps that got me through 3 kids. Make sure to drinks lots of water. Once your milk comes in and you get on a schedule you wont need to pump as much. Stick with it though,it does get better.

if you want to keep your supply you either need to talk to a lactation consultant or buy a breast pump. if you do nothing, your milk will dry up. try looking up your local le leche league. they can help you with any breastfeeding problem. or you can contact the hospital where you had your baby. most of them have a lactation consultant.
